Twiga Insul used on the back of the absorber and on the sidewalls of solar collector prevents/lessens the loss of accumulated heat through conduction thereby increasing the heat retention within the system and improving the overall function of the collector system as a whole. Due to its availability in a wide density range and dimensions, tailor made product can be offered to customers. Twiga Insul is also available with factory finished facings like black glass tissue and FSK.
Twiga Insul’s low thermal conductivity value, non-corrosive properties, flexibility, jolt resistance and zero organic compound emissions makes it suitable for this application.
Twiga Insul with a density of 16kg/m3 to 20 kg/m3 in 25 and 50 mm is recommended for this application.
